A majority of Valbay’s clients are entrepreneurs from a variety of different sectors. Many of these entrepreneurs are continuously looking for venture capital for different projects.
Valbay has created a unique venue for entrepreneurs in need of venture capital in many different situations. The entrepreneur is given the opportunity to present their company to a group of four of Valbay employees who represent our investment council. We do not conduct a thorough due diligence but our ambition is to make a quality review of each investment project. The investment opportunity is in a later stage presented to a select group of possible investors. Thus, we create a unique forum for specially selected industry experts and engaged entrepreneurs with relevant information. Our ambition is to offer our clients a select number of high quality investment opportunities each year.
Valbay’s fee is based on the invested capital after each completed transaction.

Capital needs: MSEK 40
Current owners MSEK 15
Through Valbay MSEK 25
After a meeting with the management and representatives från the group of owners and a torough review of the company the investment council decided to go forward with the project to interested investors. A number of Valbay’s customers were offered to attend an presentation with representatives from the company and Valbay and to receive a copy of the investment memorandum. With Valbay’s support, the company was able to cover the remaining volume of the offering equivalent to MSEK 25 in a period of two months from the initial contact. Valbay’s fee was set at approximately 5% of the capital but the size of the fee always differs due to the amount of capital needed and is negotiated separately for each project.
